The visit to the Holden Engine Plant has been very inspiring to the group of people from Asahi Beverage Australia.
We had the opportunity to have four people attending the event, consisting not only of the VIC State Lean Manager, but also shop floor representatives from production, maintenance and quality.
The major take-away has been to see how Holden manages successfully, at the shop floor level, their daily meetings and problem solving activities triggered by their And on system running across all the cells and assembly lines.
This Event has helped our people to see with their own eyes a real application of a system similar to what we are introducing in our business as well.
