BIKE TRIP TO SOUTH GIPPSLAND

For most people who have been involved in the BPN for some time enjoy seeing familiar faces at the events that Victor, Gareth and Yvonne organise. We all share a passion for continuous improvement and talking shop with likeminded people. Most of the discussions are focussed on our work. However, some time ago Victor noticed that quite a few members also enjoyed riding their motorbikes for fun or as a vehicle of choice for their daily commute.
Victor then swang into action and did what he does best: organise a BPN event. This time of a different kind.
So on a sunny Sunday morning in early November 5 of us we met at a café in Grantville (near Philip Island) and after a quick coffee we set of through some stunning scenery that Gippsland has to offer. The itinerary included Kernot, Korumburra, Leongatha, Mirboo North, Thorndale, Icy Creek ,Noojee, Neerim with many coffee breaks in between to rest some of our old bones! Wherever we stopped we drew curious people to admire our bikes. The vintage Norton and the vintage Honda were the stars. The Kawasaki, the BMW and Victor’s scooter never got a mention.
The day was complete with 400+ kilometres of enjoyable riding with great company in beautiful surroundings. Little pleasures in life that make all the difference. We are looking forward to the next one. Let us know if you are interested

Keep upright!
