DuluxGroup is looking to reduce the number and severity of injuries arising from manual handling tasks. An Expert Working Group, has been formed to review the existing standard and update mandatory safety controls. A survey has been developed to gain some industry insights as to the causes of manual handling injuries in our workplaces (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/manualhandlingbenchmarking).
We are keen to learn from sites which exhibit best practice in manual handling, in workplaces ranging from FMCG manufacturing to the handling of heavy steel coils.
If your site would be willing to showcase these methods (either via site visit or photographs), DuluxGroup would appreciate the opportunity to learn from the best.
