Seqirus, formerly bioCSL, manufactures and in-licenses, markets and distributes vaccines with particular focus on vaccines for the prevention and treatment of serious disease. We operate one of the world’s largest influenza vaccine manufacturing facilities and supply seasonal influenza vaccines to Australia and global markets.
Following on from a recent powerful presentation by Mark Goodsell of the AI Group and a discussion on energy efficiency, I would appreciate communication from others within the Best Practice Network, to establish any comparative data on manufacturing energy efficiency differences between the US, Europe and Australia and particularly within the Pharma manufacturing industries, if possible.
This is an area that should be of strategic interest to the wider group outside Pharma manufacturing, as all Australian manufacturing certainly need to make energy efficiency a focus if we are to stay in business.
