1 Month to Go: Countdown Begins for 2025 North America Study Tour

26 September – 9 October 2025
The 2025 North America Lean Manufacturing Study Tour is just one month away, and preparations are in full swing for what promises to be a landmark event in the professional development calendar.

Now in its 20th year, the Study Tour will take a group of industry professionals on an immersive journey through North America’s leading Lean plants, delivering invaluable insights into best practices in operational excellence.

This year’s tour is officially at capacity, with 12 delegates across two minivans set to embark on this unique learning experience. The group includes participants from Queensland, Victoria, and Vietnam, all ready to gain firsthand exposure to world-class Lean operations.

More than just a tour, this is a comprehensive Operational Excellence & Professional Development Program, offering delegates the opportunity to connect with top Lean practitioners from Australia, New Zealand, and Vietnam. The itinerary includes an impressive lineup of benchmark site visits, where attendees will witness real time applications of Lean, continuous improvement, and high-performance culture.

The Study Tour also leads into the highly anticipated 41st Annual Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) Conference, held in St. Louis, Missouri—a cornerstone event in the global Lean and operational excellence community.

Tour Hosts Kevin Bennett and Gary Kerr are holding regular briefing sessions with participants, outlining the full program, key logistics, and the value they can expect to gain. With their combined expertise, Kevin and Gary will guide the group throughout the tour, ensuring deep engagement and reflection.

While the 2025 tour is now fully bookedregistrations are open for the 2026 Study Tour, with places already being secured. If you or your team are considering joining a future delegation, early expression of interest is strongly recommended.
