Welcoming Deborah Brown – Regional Director VIC & TAS
We are delighted to welcome Deborah Brown to Best Practice Network as our new Regional Director for Victoria and Tasmania.
With more than 35 years of experience leading large teams and complex operations across Australia, Deborah brings extensive executive leadership expertise across engineering, energy, manufacturing, resources, infrastructure and education.
Throughout her career, Deborah has been passionate about bringing people together, improving performance and helping organisations build the capability needed to grow and adapt. She believes strongly in the value of practical knowledge sharing, continuous learning and creating workplaces where both people and businesses can thrive.
In her role with Best Practice Network, Deborah looks forward to supporting members by connecting leaders, encouraging collaboration and creating opportunities to share insights and learn from one another’s experiences.

We are also excited to welcome Bob Carter to Best Practice Network as Regional Facilitator – Central Queensland.
Bob joins our growing Queensland team and will work alongside Craig Mathie to expand our presence across Central Queensland, strengthening relationships with existing members, delivering greater value and introducing more manufacturers to the Best Practice Network community.
With a career spanning more than 35 years, Bob has worked with manufacturers throughout Australia and New Zealand to improve operations, develop high-performing teams and drive sustainable business improvement. His expertise spans leadership, operational excellence, sustainability and continuous improvement, helping organisations achieve measurable results while building strong workplace cultures.
Bob’s passion for helping businesses learn from one another and continuously improve aligns perfectly with our motto, “Inspire to Challenge – Support to Succeed.” He is looking forward to connecting with manufacturers across Central Queensland, sharing practical insights, facilitating collaboration and helping businesses unlock new opportunities for growth and operational excellence.
